Welcome to Being Well Coaches
What Our Clients Say
After just one session with Being Well Coaches, I reclaimed authorship over my health and body!
I took an action which restored both my physical and emotional energy levels within weeks, I had been energetically suppressed for over 2.5 years due to juggling menopausal symptoms, managing my business and parenting duties during Covid, and being diagnosed with a benign but impactful health issue.
All it took was a simple question by my coach after listening to my story, and my power returned. Thank you ladies for your care and insight!

Katy's expertise combined with her holistic focus and respectful style of coaching had a big impact very quickly.
Our first session explored my beliefs and understanding of how menopause may be impacting my life. This revealed some of my misconceptions that were hidden obstacles to my wellbeing. Once these were identified I was able to take some simple steps which had a profound impact upon my day-to-day life. This paved the way and helped create new habits and identified meaningful actions across other areas of life during subsequent coaching sessions.
BWC is uniquely positioned to provide a holistic medical perspective and I cannot think of a comparable service. I will be forever grateful for the combination of her time and resources and the evidence-based actions she was able to guide me with. BWC is literally (mid) life changing! Thank you BWC.

Health, Melbourne
With a busy full time job, and a more complicated family situation, I have found little time to focus on my own needs in the past 20 years.
Esther at BWC helped me focus on my own health and wellbeing, which included physical and mental health, relationship quandaries, menopause, managing family expectations, nutrition and much more.
I can now see a way forward that is more focused on me rather than everyone else!

Kate
Business Manager, NZ
I have been experiencing menopausal symptoms for almost nine years. Prior to meeting with Esther and Katy, I thought it was just a part of life I had to endure and hoped that it would soon pass.
After a few sessions with Katy I learnt that there are many options to treating menopausal symptoms, but also several of the physical changes I was experiencing were directly linked to menopause.
Katy shared her wealth of knowledge about women’s health and in particular, menopause which empowered me to make an informed decision to commence MHT. It is my hope that more perimenopausal and menopausal women get the support and advice that a menopause coach can offer. It has certainly improved my quality of life.
Thank you Esther and Katy for your guidance, patience and honesty and for your commitment to raising awareness about menopause and improving women’s health.

Education, Queenland
I met Esther when I was at work/life crossroads. I was well into perimenopause, everything was changing, and I found myself struggling to navigate the changes on my own. I have two kids who have both reached a certain level of independence. I was wanting to concentrate more on my career and my health, but I was too scared to navigate this and challenge the status quo.
The best way to describe it was to say I felt underwhelmed with my current life and overwhelmed with the thought of the future.
Esther came as the answer to all of the above challenges. She helped me organise my thoughts and understood my health challenges. It was wonderful to feel understood and supported. With her help I started to change some of my habits of procrastination and decision paralysis.
After our third meeting, I was offered an opportunity to accept a Statewide Project solution for Queensland Health. My usual go to before BWC coaching would have been to say no and convince myself of why "it is just not the right time", but with all the work I have done with Esther, I decided to say yes! That was 5 months ago and I am thriving and enjoying my new found confidence. I love Esther's calm and patience. I can report I feel much better as I have introduced some new healthier habits thanks to her advice.
I have no hesitation in recommending BWC to anyone who needs some guidance and support to start focusing on themselves.

Supporting women to be effective, perform to their potential, feel empowered and equipped to thrive.
Life is a series of transitions. For women there may be additional challenges such as PMS, pregnancy or fertility.
And just when we think we have hit our stride, menopause strikes at a time when you might otherwise be taking up well deserved leadership positions.
As General Practitioners, Being Well Coaches (BWC) have witnessed capable women struggling during these demanding times, juggling family duties, performing in their work roles and unable to prioritise self-care.
There is a potential impact on workplace participation and loss of valuable skill sets for employers. Our coaching facilitates women to clarify the roadblocks, increase their confidence and reach their organisational potential.
What does this mean for employers?
- There is a major equity imbalance, many workplaces are not a level playing field and the experience for women who work is often not the same as for men.
- Health challenges specific to women can be uncomfortable to talk about. This can result in women being lost in the gap between medical services with its’ focus on illness and the broadly unregulated wellness industry. BWC aims to bridge that gap.
- Employing organisations have made significant investments in their senior women. When these women are challenged by menopause up to three in ten consider stopping work and one in ten actually leave. Nearly a third of women who experience discrimination on retuning from parental leave, look for another job or resign. This represents a huge opportunity cost for employers.
- Employers who support women are more favourably viewed by potential employees and their customers.

Who We Are
Katy and Esther have both come to a point in their careers when they feel a change of focus is required to meet the needs of women more holistically, with an emphasis on times of transition that can be difficult to navigate.
Their background means they have extensive experience of the challenges women face at various adjustment points in life. Their aim is to use this experience to support women, remind them of their strengths, wisdom, capabilities, and assist them to maximise their on-going potential.
Friends and colleagues for 10 years, they enjoy finding the funny side of challenges, and will happily admit they are a work in progress of transition themselves.
